Cody Martinson, Chief Executive Officer
A DANATEQ founder, Cody’s background in the telecoms software industry with jNetX Inc. provided the experience in developing and evolving a software company from conception through to eventual acquisition. Since 2005, Cody has been active in Asia Pacific as General Manager for jNetX, primarily focusing on sales and partnerships. As DANATEQ CEO, Cody has shaped and directed the DANATEQ product lines, forging relationships with Major Tier 1 APAC clients such as Globe Telecom, Vodafone Australia and AIS to establish DANATEQ as a credible alternative to the legacy vendors. Cody’s philosophy of growing and evolving the company is based on the value that DANATEQ brings to customers, a symbiotic relationship that can only strengthen DANATEQ’s effectiveness.
Sergey Popov, Chief Technology Officer
A DANATEQ founder, as the DANATEQ CTO, Sergey is the Intellectual muscle behind Cognitive Software Technology. His revolutionary perspective on Artificial Intelligence has evolved this field into a cognitive function, allowing software to generalise and learn as it operates. Prior to joining DANATEQ, Sergey was Chief Architect and R&D Director for jNETx, where he was in charge of development of a JAIN SLEE, an Online Charging System, a Parlay Gateway, a Service Creation Environment and other state-of-the-art telecommunications products. Sergey’s next venture, as the founder of a Robotic company, provided the insight to take Cognitive Software Technology, used for learning robots, into other areas such as Telecoms and Retail. This Cognitive approach to Telecoms has provided the basis of the DANATEQ Telecoms framework that has launched cutting edge DANATEQ products delivering real-time online campaigning & analytics.
Tom Martinson, Chief Operating Officer
Tom has spent more than 35 years in the telecommunications industry, the past 25 of which have been focused in the area of software development. Tom has a proven track record in the industry of developing successful companies and products and seeing them through from concept to commercial realization to investor exit. Tom started his first company in 1978, DMR, a billing software and consulting firm. In 1982, Ericsson became an investor and joint venture partner in DMR with Tom remaining as the CEO of the new company, DMR Ericsson Programmatic. Ericsson eventually acquired 100% of the company, which became Ericsson’s first successful investment in the U.S.market. Subsequently, Tom was also the founder and CEO of Integrated Technology (IT) developing the first Non-Bell Service Control Point (SCP) for Intelligent Networks. It was eventually acquired by Hewlett Packard (HP). In the 1990s, Tom began consulting on various telecom projects, including Millicom, a NASDAQ listed mobile telecom company in the formerSoviet Union. During the same period, he started a small telecommunications company inTexas. Tom moved toMoscowfull-time to help a developing billing software company, Flagship TeleSystems. As the COO, Tom guided the company to a viable commercial product that is today used by more than 40 wireless telecom providers in Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia.
Mark Thong, Head of Sales, Asia Pacific
Mark brings over 2 decades of experience in building and leading Sales, Partners and Solution teams, with an extensive track record of building start-ups in the Asia region. As a self-starter, he enjoyed being the first hire for some of these start-ups, creating go-to-market strategies, acquiring the partner network and best talents to scale the Asia business exponentially. The last 5 start-ups that he led the Asia business, was successfully acquired by larger organizations or achieved bourse listing. Between the various start-up stints, Mark delivered P&L successes in his leadership roles with Lucent Technologies and Ericsson. He has enabled profitable entry into new markets and also built fledging growth businesses in new industries. His latest passion is in the monetization of data, empowering clients to achieve insights-led revenue growth and business operations excellence. Mark is a strong advocate of meaningful customer intimacy by capturing perishable experiential moments to deliver the most rewarding experience to the customer.
Monica Senga, Head of Solutions Support
Max Afanasyev, Head of Product Support
With more than 15 years’ work experience in telecom, and software development and maintenance with a solid technical and management background, Max joined DANATEQ at its very foundation back in 2010 as Director of RnD. He built several versions of the LINK™ product and established the core of the RnD department. Being a product knowledge base of DANATEQ, Max moved to head product delivery and support in 2014 to boost the company’s growth and to cover new markets. Prior to DANATEQ, Max was a product manager and solutions architect working with companies, such as DoCoMo, Telefonica, Vodafone, O2, KPN, Wind, Motorola, and Ericsson, providing solutions and meeting customer expectations while effectively managing customer relationships.
Alexander Grishin, Head of RnD
Alexander started his career at the Intel IT Lab based in Nizhny Novgorod State University. He worked on Parallel Computing made on a distributed cluster environment, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision where he achieved significant theoretical and practical results. In 2005, Alexander joined an Ericsson partner company and built a strong telecom expertise working on the Ericsson Telecom Server Platform, particularly the Signalling sub-system taking on various positions such as developer, Design Responsible System Manager, and Function Responsible System Manager. Alexander joined the DANATEQ Russia office in 2010 as one of its pioneering team members and headed protocols development and general carrier grade architecture. His expertise in telecom and machine learning has contributed to the successful development of LINK™, a true telecom real-time analytics product.
Anton Jacomina, Head of Program Management and Business Support
Anton has over 17 years in HR including 5 years in an executive capacity providing advice and solutions on people and organization matter in a multinational and multicultural environments in telecom, banking, insurance, and management consulting. He joined DANATEQ in early 2014 as HR Manager with overall functional responsibility to develop and implement HR policies and procedures that will prepare the company for growth. Since then, Anton has taken on additional responsibilities outside of HR working closely with the CEO and COO to shape the company in operating more efficiently and effectively as a global organization.
